Does transformation work? Does transformation last?
Marina, a filmmaker from Italy, shares the impact of our sessions 1 year later.
“I was jumping from one therapist to another… for 15 years… You know when you are dreaming your whole life about the same thing? And I, with your sessions, I stopped dreaming about the same thing, like I cut the pattern. Like okay, stop, that’s enough dreaming. I was more working for others and creating the puzzles for others and trying to, you know, do the best for others. And that was not coming from me.”
“With your sessions, I started to see each piece of my puzzle and how to create the pieces of my puzzle. And then, people can see what actually is happening here, this puzzle inside of me and now [people come to me] because they can see the puzzle.”
“I remember having this conversation with my father for the first time in my life after our sessions and saying the truth that I was trying to hide from him for my whole life, and I could express to him very in a very loving way what I didn’t want, I didn’t like, or was not working for me and and he could say also things to me for the first time. I’m ready to create my present and future now.”
What I do
I help you create the life you want.
You have parts. You have a noble part that loves others, is secure, and is on this earth to do something aligned with your archetypal purpose. You have less noble parts that are resentful, manipulative, selfish, that like to play inferior or superior, that like to hide and be constricted. These parts keep you small and ordinary. These parts are only about your own survival.
Working with me is about moving out of survival and into evolution and expression.
I source unflinching clarity. I discern between the parts that exist in you, and then I open gaps between them. What does that gap give you? It gives you choice. Choice between hiding and playing full out with your creations. Choice between secretly competing with others and actually loving them. Choice between operating as a programmatic automaton following someone else’s dreams and following the flickering impulses inside you that would lead you to a wild life. Choice between being numb and actually being able to feel and connect with others.
The best trick you have for resisting your own transformation is that you write stories about yourself and then you believe them. Worse, you then get everyone around you to believe them. There is nothing fundamentally wrong or limited about you. You just believe that if you do X, then you’ll get metaphorically killed.
I stand outside you, and I don’t get hooked into your stories. I ask questions others do not dare ask, questions to which the answer might lie outside your current context of being. I keep my eye focused on what your Being is capable of, and I create space for it to come through, for you to feel more, follow impulses more, love more, and serve others more. I hold psycho-energetic-emotional processes that melt down the old so you can recast it into the new.
It is possible to rewrite how you live so that the constricted parts of you no longer have majority vote. It is possible for you to become a post-survival human. You can serve forces of empowerment or love or creation. You can weave fields of being-with for your friends to step into. You can cry with and for others. You can learn to say things you’ve never said before and discover that they’re what you’ve been dying to say your whole life.
Specialties: unblocking desire, eros, aliveness; healing old emotional wounds; getting out of irrational/irrelevant fears that hold you back; community mediation/consulting; couples intimacy; conscious feelings and conscious anger work.
What are you wanting more of in your life?
Can numbness and depression end? How big of a shift can happen? Does it last?
Eithne shares the change 3 years later.
“I did 10 years of the therapy, anti-depressant, anti-anxiety medication route, and it didn’t work for me… I hadn’t cried in something like five years, I had never, ever gotten angry at somebody. I had no way to inner navigate my feelings whatsoever.”
“Now I’ve been off antidepressants for three years, and my life is wonderful.”
“You have this ability to ask the question that kind of pierces through the defendedness, or pierces through the barriers of the heart to really get to what’s happening underneath. And it’s like when a mirror shatters, you know, you throw the first stone and then everything cracks. You have that, I’ve experienced that many times from you, and those first couple times were life changing.”
“You asked me to just slow down with it, and to slow down how I was speaking and then I just burst into tears. And it was the first time that I had cried in years… the floodgates opened… it changed the course of my life, like I remember those moments so clearly, because the path of my life shifted.”
“There’s this way that you are able to hold space for people that is entirely without judgment. And when I’m with you in a held space, I so clearly feel that you are just there, that there’s no end goal in mind, that you are really just there to help me navigate, to help your clients navigate to their real longing. And I know a lot of people that have worked with you, and I think a lot of people would say the same thing, that you have this real gift in being able to just be with what is and and when you create that vacuum, like everything, just everything happens, suddenly there’s space for feeling to happen, for transformation to happen, for real intimacy to happen. And it’s an incredible gift.”
