Projects for Next Culture
Why do these things?
Because Modern Culture doesn’t create the results I believe are possible with human relating or being-ness. Some simple examples: there are no “emotional intelligence” courses taught in public schools and no teachings on how to get vulnerable with your partner. We’re meant to learn this at home, I guess, but that doesn’t seem to be working so well.
Current Projects
Rage Club SF
A space to transform your relationship to your anger. Use your anger consciously, for your aliveness, your healing, your voice, your space, your desires.
Lighting the Edge

I create temporary multi-day transformation village gatherings so people can come together and
- Step beyond the boundaries of Modern Culture and discover what else we can create
- Build a village where we can feel our feelings, navigate to new ways of being together, and practice being sources of love
- Empower new collaborations between people walking interesting and diverse transformational paths
Can we create a condensed practice space for going into the intense liquid state of discovering what parts of us are authentic? Can we find out how to stand in connection with others as we peel away instincts to hide, manipulate, be superior, etc.? Can we find ways to play and celebrate, in addition to creating depth?
The next main multi-day gathering will late spring/early summer 2026. Occasionally we do smaller events. Hear about updates by signing up on our website.

Past Projects
I probably won’t keep this very well updated, but I always enjoy seeing what other people have created, where they’ve come from, and what they’ve learned. So here it is.

Making Love: Sexual Love the Divine Way

Barry Long writes about his book “This book is a basis for divine lovemaking between man and woman. Please use it to dismantle your sexual greed and frustration and start to discover love as it really is, and not as you think it is or want it to be.”
Meredith asked me to read it with her six months ago. It seemed like a great idea. I was in! I read the first few pages with her. Then I stopped.
How come? Because I was an uninitiated patriarchal little boy. Our “lovemaking” was about my excitement and my pleasure, and I did not want that to end. I let myself care more about that than I did about allowing Meredith to create extraordinary love for the two of us.
Something happened since then, and the little boy has become a little less. I can admit now that our lovemaking is not good enough. I cannot reach Meredith and cannot really receive the divine love that she has for me.
Maybe if you are a man reading this, you too can admit that your lovemaking is a mess that is ready to be burned to ash. Maybe if you are a woman reading this, you can admit your grief and agony that you do not know how to be arrogant enough — and patient enough — to lead a man to receive what you have to offer.
Meredith, Sónia, and I are forming a weekly study group. We will read through Making Love together, share about our experiments and practices, and put each other at the edge. You do not have to be in a romantic partnership.

Magic Cow Bridge House

An experiment on a 400-acre farm in upstate New York about what happens when a community lives with the context of Radical Responsibility. A research lab into how such a community can survive long-term, in a way that is regeneratively aligned with the earth. A stepping stone toward a larger vision of a multi-decade, inter-generational transformational center contexted in Radical Responsibility. Read our experiments and reports here.
